Hamilton Collection "Angel Of Glory" Military/ Patriotic Bereavement Figurine.

While its authorship is in question, the poem, starting with the words "Do Not Stand By My Grave and Weep..." is known and beloved worldwide for its poignant words of spiritual immortality. 

From the Hamilton Collection, this somewhat heavy, striking resin figurine of the mourning Angel is draped in the American flag and clings a three cornered memorial flag to her chest. Her wings, with incredibly detailed feathers, are cupped in an embracing manner while she stands before the monument bearing the beautiful inscription. 

Despite its military theme, this figurine also serves as an understanding, heartfelt gift for any American living with loss.

Conditions: Great. Light scuff spots to the backside gold ribbon (see photo). There are no chips, cracks, wear or repairs. The figurine is clean, the detail is sharp, and the colors are intact and vivid.
