Your eyes are drawn to the pug faces, highlighted by their bright, Chinese famille-like, yellow and floral bow collars, all without realizing there's a little fellow- a most adorable sight-a nestled pup suckling from its mother! Turn the figurine and yes, its peeking out right at you. How cute!
And very nicely made, too. While the face fronts are solid black, highly glazed, the side hair detail is drawn with strokes, also running down the backside. The white body itself is given a textured feel to contrast the smooth floral pad. Both figurines make an elegant presentation.

Condition: Great. There are very few, tiny dotted, black specs from manufacture seen beneath the glaze, not obvious. No other issues are noted. There are no chips, cracks, stains crazing or wear. The detail is sharp, the colors are vivid and the glaze is smooth and polished.
