Mitterteich Bavaria Gold Gilt and Royal Blue/ Ivory Tea Cup and Saucer Set. Discontinued 1931-45

A celebration of what smooth, regal elegance looks like. Set against ivory is a feast of bright scrolled gold bands, ornate rings of royal blue, dainty gold florals and a bold medallion that sits flat in the depressed base of the teacup. Unusually wide and slender this lightweight cup sets itself down in style with a scalloped and gold trim base.

Origin: Germany, pattern 3323, 1931-1945. Pre-owned

Condition: Very Good. Vintage wear on the handle gilt and on the saucer depression circle where the cup would rest is noted. There are no chips, cracks, or stains.
